POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Accurately and rapidly collects blood and body fluid samples from inpatients and outpatients in the proper container correctly labeling all tubes and promptly delivering blood samples to the laboratory. Timely and accurately collects blood specimens from patients, using appropriate aseptic collection methods and the correct collection system.
