About this role

Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager, performs venipunctures and capillary punctures, collects throat swabs for culture, and instructs patients on proper collection of urine specimens. Accesses computers for ordering tests, printing labels, and collecting demographic data. Assists in clerical tasks. Assures that collecting area is adequately stocked with supplies.
