About this role

POSITION PURPOSE Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Monitor Tech provides surveillance of telemetry monitors throughout the hospital. Performs accurate EKG rhythm interpretation and other electrocardiography functions that support the healthcare team in delivering high quality care. Provides notification to appropriate nursing staff when telemetry monitor changes are noted. Serves as a patient advocate within the health care system.
